Ewha Womans University has selected the 2026 Ewha Chair Professor, Ewha Fellows, and New Ewha Fellows to strengthen the research capabilities of outstanding faculty and foster world-class research leaders. Among the selected faculty members, five IMMS professors—Dong Ha Kim, Hoi Ri Moon, Dongseok Suh, Suyeon Cho, and Jang-Hwan Choi—have been recognized for their research achievements and academic excellence.
Prof. Dong Ha Kim was selected as an Ewha Chair Professor, Profs. Hoi Ri Moon and Dongseok Suh and as Ewha Fellows, and Profs. Suyeon Cho and Jang-Hwan Choi as New Ewha Fellows. These programs support faculty members with outstanding research achievements and identify promising early-career researchers to foster the next generation of research leaders.
The recognition highlights the outstanding research capabilities and academic achievements of IMMS faculty. IMMS will continue to foster a world-class research environment, strengthen collaboration among researchers, and support outstanding researchers in pursuing innovative research across disciplines.
