IMMS Platforms
IMMS platforms provide shared research infrastructure and operational models that translate research capabilities into practice. Designed to enhance efficiency and scalability across the research lifecycle, these platforms support both IMMS researchers and external collaborators from academia and industry. IMMS will continue to develop and expand new research platforms in response to emerging scientific and technological needs.
How platforms fit into the IMMS framework
Platforms are the physical and operational infrastructure that lets Technical Groups (TG) and Core Projects (CP) work at scale. They translate accumulated capabilities into reproducible, shareable research practice.

An AI- and robotics-enabled autonomous research facility that automates the full research cycle. Operated under an open-access model, the OA-SDL accelerates discovery for IMMS researchers and external collaborators alike.

The central characterization and measurement hub of IMMS, providing advanced analytical infrastructure for reliable, quantitative, and reproducible research. Open to academic, industrial, and research-institution users.
